Minsk Arena

Minsk-Arena is a multi-use indoor arena in Minsk, Belarus that is currently under construction. Complex "Minsk-Arena" is a unique object, which has no analogues on the complexity and functionality not only in Belarus but also in Europe.

It includes a multi-sports and entertainment arena for 15,000 spectators, a skating stadium for up to 3,000 spectators and a velodrome at 2,000 spectators. Opening is scheduled for 30 December 2009 . The Federation of International Bandy decided to hold the Bandy World Championships 2012 in the arena .

It is listed as one of two main venues for the 2014 IIHF World Championship. It will also be the venue for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010, which is scheduled to take place in November 2010.
