“The audience is absolutely amazing, and I wish I could sing a solo concert here,” said Ani Lorak in the flash interview to the eurovision.tv immediately after her act on stage.

The reaction of the bookmakers was swift. Right after the semi-final, the odds went up from 6/1 to 5/1, and reached 4/1 this morning, which brought Ani to the second place approaching Russia’s entry closely, and followed by Greece, Sweden, Serbia and Armenia.

According to the Eurovision experts, the most fierce competition for Ani will come from Sweden. Nevertheless, the rumors go that the next year’s contest will take place in one of the countries of the former Soviet Union.

When asked whether one of the winners of the Eurovision 2008 was on the panel at the press-conference after the second semi-final, Ani answered humbly “Yes”.“I am very grateful to all those who voted for me in the semi-final. I promise that Shady Lady will fill all those watching Eurovision with positive emotions on
Saturday night,” remarked the artist.

As the result of the 2nd semi-final draw, Ani Lorak will sing 18th in the final show.
