 The main organizer is Dono Tsvetkov , one of the biggest composers that Bulgaria has in the present … and , also , the president of Discovery Foundation .He and the Municipality of Varna decided that this year the president of the jury will be - Mihai Traistariu , after his succes on Eurovision and his european hit ” Tornero ” .

This year Romania will be represented in the contest by 2 great singers : Simona Nae ( Eurovision 2008 - National Final - place 2 in semifinal ) and Cristina Bondoc , a finalist of the huge Tv Show - Megastar , a romanian version of American Idol.
Cristina Bondoc is , also , one of the 4-th winners of ” Mihai Traistariu Award ” , a prize given to the best voice in a national festival when Mihai is invited to take part as a member of the jury.
As a president and a member of the jury , Mihai can’t vote for romanian singers …
The same … for the other jury members : they can’t vote for their country.
And … because it’s Varna and … Golden Sands are waiting the people for sunbath and water … Mihai will have at least … 2 days of vacation.
The next days … he will have to return to Romania … because he is in the middle of his biggest tour ever ( 51 concerts in one month ). He has to sing in some days … 3-4 shows / day.
