The national braodcaster of San Marino broadcast last night footage from the song of Miodio, the band that will represent for the time the country in the contest. San Marino TV yesterday reveals to eurovision.tv that the country will represent by Mio dio and will sing the song “I hate myself”.
The microstate of San Marino will debut and compete in the first of two semifinals in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade. They will have to compete against 18 other entries on 20th May 2008 (1st semi-final) to gain a place in the final on 24th May 2008. The Sammarinese public broadcaster SMRTV has applied to take part in the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest, and it has also announced the full broadcast of the event (both semi-finals and the final).
