Finland decides: Terasbetoni
March 1, 2008 at 11:26 pm

Perhaps the Heavy Metal trend in Eurovision is still alive!

Tonight Finland certainly still believes a good Metal song can do well in the Eurovision Song Contest. Terasbetoni won the Finnish National Final with 38.9% of the vote. Second went to Kari Tapio with 33.9% and third to Cristal Snow with 27.2%.

The shock rockers performance was explosive to say the least, with pyrotechnics reminding us of Lordi’s success of 2006.
Their song “Missa miehet ratsastaa” is true to their genre and the audience recevied the song very well.
Could a metal song prevail once again?
