A few hours ago the submissions for the Eurosong 09 endend. In total 182 entries were submitted for this  year’s  selection.This year there were 43 songs submitted less than 2008 according to Escmalta.com .Earlier before,Escmalta.com reported exclusively the changes from the original rules of the selection as a fix number of 56 songs will make it at the live shows. The Show called Euroshow Box and will run for 8 weeks.The shows will start at 8th November 2008 and will be hosted by ex-PR in the Maltese delegation, Valerie Vella. The Grand Final will be held on Saturday 7th February 2009. The winner of the Eurosong 09 will represent Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow.

 ”Euroshow Box” will be aired  for 8 weeks and only 7entries will participate in each week, on the following dates:

8th, 15th and 29th November 2008
6th, 13th and 20th December 2008
3rd and 10th January 2009
