On 3 August Ruslana performed at the beauty event Miss Poland 2008 which took place in the town Plotsk, 100 km from Warsaw. The winner of the competition, 20-year-old Klaudiya Ungerman, will represent Poland at the Miss World competition which will be held in Ukraine in October this year.
Because of this Ruslana was invited as special guest to the show which was watched by seven million TV viewers. Ruslana’s winning song Wild Dances was broadcast live by Polish television channel TV Polsat. She also performed Heart on Fire which will be broadcast during the full TV version of the show.
