Coming last in the Eurovision has reportedly humiliated 2008 UK entrant Andy Abraham, who has now decided to quit his music career. Andy has now “made his mind up” and has told friends that he will no longer release any new material.
Andy rose to fame on the Tv show “X Factor” and used his own funds to enter Eurovision which did not come to fruition. The United Kingdom’s commentator Terry Wogan was disgusted at Andy’s position saying that political voting was to blame for the Uk scraping up a mere 14 points to come equal last.
Since the contest, Abraham has now told friends he will become a property developer and will no longer release any musical material. “He was absolutely gutted at the result,” a source told the Daily Star Sunday. “He said he felt he had put in the ‘performance of his life’, so to be given ‘nul points’ by 22 countries was humiliating, especially after he staked in a large amount of his own cash. The result was both a personal and financial blow and as a result Handy Andy has decided to turn his hand to property developing. He’s got a few properties he’s working on at the moment. It’s not a great economic climate - but it’s marginally better than the music industry.”
Esctime will keep readers posted if any other news comes up surrounding Andy’s decision.
