 Together or individually, the two young artists (both aged 10) are performing and competing in different festivals, in order to keep themselves in the best shape for the contest in Cyprus.
Thus, at the beginning of July, Andrada won the first place (in her age category) in the most important Romanian National Festival for Children: “Mamaia Copiilor”- 2008. On the Gala night of this festival, Madalina and Andrada together had a special moment performing Salvati Planeta (Save the Planet), the song that will represent Romania in JESC this year.
Two weeks later, Madalina took part in the International Children Music Contest ”Vitebsk-2008”, held in Belarus, within the XVII edition of The International Festival of Arts ”Slavianski Bazaar In Vitebsk”. Out of the 20 children from 17 countries competing in this event, Madalina came out on the third place and was invited by the organisers to close the Gala show with her special: ”Hello my friends from Belorussia”.
Now Madalina and Andrada are having a brief vacation with their families, but soon they will start a new program of special preparations for Junior Eurovision, the most important contest of their very young lives!
