| JESC 2008: Get to know Monika from Armenia |

 On July 11, 2008 AMPTV had a National Final for the JESC and Monika has won it with her beautiful ballad “Im Ergi Hnchyune” (”The Sound of My Song”). Her friend, the lyrics-writer of the song Meri Mnjoyan came third in the row during the National Final, but she will be there in Cyprus as a back-vocalist singer in order to support Monika.
At this very moment AMPTV team works at the new arrangement of the song, lyrics adaptation, costumes, show, arranges vocal classes for all children integrated into the show. We plan to release a CD-single and the video-clip in September. Before that Monika will move to Yerevan from Gyumri and will not enjoy her summer holidays because she has so much to do for the performance. Monika plans to attend English classes in order to communicate with other participants easily.
After the National Final Monika had her first time ever press-conference and said that her song gives her strength and power to go ahead with her dreams and work hard in order to achieve goals. She is convinced that the talent is not just enough to make people pay attention to her, she has to sing day and night, improve the mistakes, stage behaviour, and then she will deserve the applauds from the audience.
Monika is invited to perform her song at “Krunk” festival of young talents in Armenia and now every single step of hers is under instant surveillance of local press.
